Our Impact

Since its inception, the VCTF has made a tremendous impact on venture capital financing in Ghana.

VCTF supported the establishment of the Ghana Alternative Exchange (GAX). The GAX is to promote Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) listing and also to establish a listing support fund dedicated to helping SMEs to cover the upfront cost re-quired to list on the Market.

The activities of VCTF have placed Ghana on the VC/PE map in Africa by hosting industry related events which continue to attract VC/PE firms into the country…

Our Operations

Sectors of Interest

VCTF invests in fund managers in the business of supporting Small and Medium Enterprises in priority sectors of the economy, specified from time to time.

Fund Manager Requirements

Legal capacity; incorporated in Ghana; obligations to pay taxes and social security contributions; SEC license; Strong Team; VC fund management; experience working with SMEs.

Venture Capital Finance Company

Investment options

Fund Managers invests in SMEs through Equity, Debt or a combination of the equity and debt instruments with additional working capital support for the smooth running of business operations.

SMEs Requirements

Submit a Comprehensive Business Plan with three (3) year projections, an audited Financial Reports for past three years where applicable, Tax Clearance Certificate (A must), and Incorporation Papers.
