Kofi S. Yamoah is the immediate-past Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange. He is a product of: Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast; University of Ghana Business School, Legon; and the China Europe International Business School.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana and an MBA from the China Europe International Business School. He is a chartered accountant
(ICA Ghana) and an investment banker.
Mr. Yamoah’s career with the Ghana Stock Exchange dated back to December 1990 and
he served in various capacities including Presiding Officer on the Trading Floor, Financial Controller, Head of Listings and General Manager.
He was appointed Managing Director of the Exchange in April 2003 and served in that capacity up to his retirement in July 2019. Mr. Yamoah has a great understanding of the running of financial markets through extensive executive training and study tours of many such institutions in Africa, the US, Europe, and Asia.
Aside of VCTF, Mr. Yamoah serves on the boards of Absa Ghana Ltd and the Accra Institute of Technology.

Yaw Owusu-Brempong is an experienced Finance and Management Accountant professional with seventeen years post qualification experience. He started his professional career in June 2001 with British American Tobacco (BAT) Ghana Ltd as a Management Accountant and later became the Financial Accountant of the company. By dint of hard work, professionalism, and humility he was later promoted to the position of Finance Manager before leaving the services of the company in October 2004 to join Multi-Tech Services Ltd as the General Manager in charge of Finance and Administration. In March 2005 Yaw left Multi-Tech to join Vanguard Assurance Company Ltd as the Financial Controller. As the Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, he was responsible for the management of all the Finance and Accounting functions of the company. Vanguard Assurance is one of the top insurance companies in Ghana and Yaw is part of the success story of the insurance giant. In June 2012, Yaw left the Services of Vanguard Assurance to join a hospitality company, Primus Services Ltd, as the Managing Director. Due to his management and financial competencies he was able to turn around the fortunes of the company. Primus provides catering, janitorial and other camp management services for corporate entities. He also served on the board of Unique Insurance from June 2013 to October 2015 when he voluntarily resigned from the Board due to a busy schedule at Primus. Yaw Owusu-Brempong holds a degree in Economics [BA Hons] from the University of Ghana (Legon). After his bachelor’s degree at Legon in 1996, he had the opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom (UK) to further his education. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant [CIMA] UK and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK.

Mrs. Kosi Antwiwaa Yankey-Ayeh is the first female Chief Executive Officer to head the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) ― formerly National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) ― an Agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) in mandated to strengthen and grow Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana. She served as an Advisor on the Ministry of Finance’s Advisory Committee and is a Board Member at the Accra Digital Centre, and many other Committees.
Prior to this role, Kosi had years of work experience in the USA, Europe and West Africa. Her experiences range from working as a Consultant, Entrepreneur and a Banker at Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and UBS. At Deutsche Bank in New York, she assisted in the establishment of the first multi-million-dollar microfinance fund set up by an investment bank.
Over the past decade, she founded a financial institution and an agro-food processing company. In 2011, she was selected as one of five finalists for the Women in Business Challenge held in the Netherlands.
As a Consultant, she successfully led the setup, strategic development and growth of various businesses, incubators and accelerators. These incubators have assisted MSMEs and entrepreneurs in Africa commercialize research, grow and receive funding. In 2014, an agribusiness incubator she setup was listed amongst the top ten to watch in Africa. She was also instrumental in implementing programs and projects for various partners, such as USAID, CIDA, JICA, AFdB, IFAD, the World Bank, international NGOs, governments and impact investors.
In the past seven years, she has raised over US$300 million dollars in funds. Some earmarked to develop entrepreneurial and acceleration programs to support entrepreneurs, the youth and MSMEs in Ghana. Her efforts have also resulted in an increase in GEA’s budget and funding streams by over 1000%.
Mrs. Yankey-Ayeh graduated from Harvard University, USA, with a Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government where she was a Mason Fellow. At Harvard, she received the 2016 excellence award for academic distinction and her contribution towards the Edward S. Mason Program and the School.
In 2019 she received a certificate for completing a two-year Regional Entrepreneurship and Acceleration Program (REAP) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management. She received her BA in Government from Wesleyan University, Connecticut, USA, and has a certificate in Market Access for Sustainable Development from Wageningen University, Netherlands.

Mr. Victor Yaw Asante’s career commenced over two and half decades ago in 1996 as a sales and marketing professional with Unilever Ghana Limited. After two years at that organization Victor joined Merchant Bank, now Universal Merchant Bank where he worked in the Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations and PR functions.
Victor is currently the MD/CEO of FBN Bank Ghana, a subsidiary of Nigeria’s oldest Bank, First Bank.
Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana Limited, Victor was the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking with oversight responsibility for Commercial Banking Business at First National Bank Ghana, a subsidiary of the First Rand Group of South Africa.
He also worked with the Standard Chartered Bank Group, serving variously as the bank’s Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Institutional Clients at its Botswana subsidiary, and as Managing Director and Regional Head of Transaction Banking, based in Ghana with additional responsibilities over other West African countries including Cameroun, Cote D’Ivoire, Gambia and Sierra Leone.
Victor holds an MBA from the University of Ghana Business School, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Agricultural Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for both UK and Ghana.
Victor has been trained at very notable organizations and attended acclaimed leadership programmes like the Rand Merchant Bank Lead Program and INSEAD Singapore Impact Your Leadership programme among others.
A father of two children, Victor is an amateur golfer and scrabble player as well as humanitarian who is a Past Club President and a Past Assistant Governor of Rotary International, Ghana.
He is the Rotary International District Governor for Rotary District 9102 which covers Ghana, Togo, Benin and Niger.

Kisseih is the Managing Director of Sentinel Asset Management (SAM). Prior to SAM, he was the
Managing Director of EDC Investments Ltd, the Ghanaian subsidiary of Ecobank Capital’s Asset
Management business. He also doubled as the Anglophone West Africa Regional Head of Ecobank
Capital’s Securities, Wealth and Asset Management businesses where he was tasked with overseeing
the management, operation and development of those businesses with the aim of meeting established
strategic objectives. Kisseih also used to be the Regional Head, Business Development – Anglophone
Africa for Ecobank Capital’s Securities and Asset Management businesses. He was also once the Africa
Head of Product Development for the Asset Management business. Prior to joining Ecobank Capital,
Kisseih had a stint in corporate banking with Barclays Bank Ghana as the Head of Public Sector where he
managed a team responsible for leveraging on relationships developed to originate new business with
Parastatals & Government Agencies, increase wallet share of clients and spot opportunities to cross-sell
various products and services offered by the bank. Aside his corporate banking stint with Barclays,
Kisseih has only worked in investment management. As Vice-President and Portfolio Manager at Zenith
Capital, in Lagos Nigeria, he managed the The Zenith Equity Fund, The Zenith Balanced Fund and the The
Zenith Ethical Fund. As a Senior Associate and Portfolio Manager at Afrinvest also in Nigeria, he
managed assets for three open ended funds, and managed the pension assets for the Nigerian National
Petroleum Company as well as customized portfolios for several institutional and High Networth
Individuals. He also had a stint in London with the emerging market private equity firm Actis. Kisseih is
Vice-President of the Ghana Securities Industry Association and serves on the steering committee of the
Securities and Exchange’s Capital Market Master Plan which is a blueprint for developing Ghana’s capital
market over a ten-year period. Kisseih holds a BA (Hons) in Economics & Law from the Kwame Nkrumah
University of Science and Technology and an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management,
Vanderbilt University.

Mabel Nana Nyarkoa Porbley is the Managing Director of Saham Insurance Ghana, a subsidiary of the South African based financial services leader, Sanlam Group, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with subsidiaries in 34 African countries.
Mabel is a chartered insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK, a management professional with an Executive Masters in Business Administration from GIMPA, a BA degree in
Management Studies, and a diploma in Education, both from the University of Cape Coast.
Mabel has worked in a number of companies, providing leadership and direction to achieve value
for stakeholders of these companies. Prior to her current role, Mabel was, from late 2015 to early
2018, the Managing Director for NSIA Insurance Ghana, also a subsidiary of a pan-African Group
with presence in 12 countries including Ghana. She led the restructuring and reorganization of
people, operational and administrative processes, procedures and resources of the company for
quick turnaround and growth. Within a year of managing the team, she turned around the
sustainability and profitability of the company and implementation of a corporate cultural shift
for results and performance management are among some of the achievement.
Before then, from 2012 to 2015, Mabel was the Group General Manager, Business Development
for Metropolitan Group Ghana – Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana, Metropolitan Health Ghana,
Momentum Health Plan & Metropolitan Pensions Trust Ghana., where she managed the
integration of Metropolitan Life and Momentum Health Ghana in-country as a Group of
businesses, working in Life insurance, Health Insurance and Pensions administration. This was
after the merger of Metropolitan Pty and Momentum Pty, both in South Africa to become MMI,
the second largest financial services company also listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
As the Country Manager for Momentum Health Ghana, prior to Metropolitan Ghana, from 2008
to 2012, she nurtured the private health insurance start-up company to become the most
preferred health insurer with the second largest market share.
She spent the first 10 years of her career, from 1998 to 2008, working with the Ghana Social
Marketing Foundation, which later became GSMF International, a not for profit organization with
the USAID and the DFID being major donors. Here, she started at entry level as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director and rose to the position as Deputy Chief in 6 years. She was
part of the team that lead the implementation of most of the Family Planning/contraceptive
campaigns as well as the then National HIV/AIDS Campaign, Stop AIDs Love Life.
Mabel is a chartered insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK, a management
professional with an Executive Masters in Business Administration from GIMPA, a BA degree in
Management Studies, and a diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. She’s also a
product of Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast.
She was adjudged the Insurance Personality of the Year 2017, at the Women in Banking and
Finance Awards. She currently sits on several boards including the Edinburgh Head of States
Awards as a Trustee, the ECOWAS Brown Card Scheme, the Ghana Insurers Association and
Saham Insurance Ghana.

Brian has over two decades experience in private equity, investment banking and corporate strategy, covering countries in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to co-founding Zebu, Brian was at Emerging Capital Partners, one of the largest pan-African private equity firms, based in Washington DC, with over US$ 1.8 billion under management. Brian started his banking career with Citigroup and then joined Freddie Mac to restructure the organisation. Brian is a graduate of Harvard Business School. He is also a CPA.
