Francisca Amoako Awuku is a chartered Accountant with over fifteen (15) years progressive working experience in banking and related industries. She joined Venture Capital Trust Fund as an Internal Auditor and is currently the Head of Finance and Administration.
Prior to joining Venture Capital Trust Fund, she worked as the Head of Audit at Bank of Africa overseeing internal control and auditing functions of the Bank. She started her career at Ernst & Young where she worked on auditing projects for companies such as AngloGold Ashanti, Ghacem, Hull Blyth, OLAM Ghana, Ghana AIDS Commission, and Roman Ridge School amongst others.
She has attended several training programmes both locally and internationally.
Francisca holds an MBA in Finance from Oxford Brookes University (UK), and a BA (Hons) French & Psychology from the University of Ghana. She’s a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICA).

Percival Ofori Ampomah is an industry expert on private equity investments, asset management, corporate finance and business valuation work. He was the General Manager of the largest Asset Management Company in Ghana. Prior to that, Percival was the General Manager of Prime Equity Investments at the Ghana Growth Fund where he managed the fund’s major private equity investments in the financial services sector as well as agro-related businesses across Ghana. Ghana Growth Fund is one of Ghana’s largest Private Equity Funds with more than $500 million of assets under management. Prior to joining Ghana Growth Fund, Percival was the Deputy General Manager and Head of Investments at the Venture Capital Trust Fund where he provided strategic leadership for all aspects of the Trust Fund’s investments in risky financial assets including venture capital funds and special purpose vehicles.
He was the lead manager responsible for the Trust Fund’s major work on impact investment and angel investments in Ghana. He is a skilled valuation expert and has performed and supervised several valuation and investment appraisal projects both in Ghana and also in the USA, where he worked in the investment banking space. Percival is also an Adjunct Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Finance at several universities in Ghana, a former Board member of the Ghana Alternative Exchange, and a recognized trainer for the CVA certification program.
He is skilled at consulting for corporate and small- to medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) clients, is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and a member in good standing of the African Association of Consultants and Valuation Analysts. Mr. Ampomah holds a Private Equity and Venture Capital Certificate from Harvard Business School and Venture Capital Executive Education Certificate from the Hass School of Business, University of California, Berkley. He also holds an Honours LLB from the GIMPA Law School, an MSc. Degree in Finance from the University of Durham Business School, U.K. and an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Percival is currently pursuing the Professional Law Course leading to a call to the Bar at the Ghana School of Law.
