GVCA BASELINE REPORT
The Baseline Report on the State of Venture Capital and Private Equity (VCPE) in Ghana by Impact Investing Ghana (IIGh) in partnership with the Ghana Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (GVCA) was launched on the 22nd of May 2024 at the Ghana Impact Summit and provides a deep dive into how VCPE has contributed to impact, gender, and social equality.
The baseline study seeks to achieve three objectives:
- To help fill a major data gap on the performance of VCPE funds to date, especially in driving impact investing and gender equality;
- To engage and equip key stakeholders across the impact investing ecosystem with locally relevant, actionable insights to catalyze the growth of venture capital and impact investing in Ghana
- To strengthen the capacity of key impact investing stakeholders to drive evidence-based decisions, investment activity, and benchmarking
