Hon. Christian Corleytey Otuteye is a Ghanaian politician, academic, and public servant whose career spans education, finance, governance, and national development. Born on October 23, 1973, in Sege-Ada, Ghana, he has earned a reputation as a results-oriented leader and thought partner in both academia and politics.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany, and a second master’s degree in bioinformatics from the University of Cologne in Germany. His undergraduate studies were in Physical Science at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. Over the years, he has also pursued professional development through a range of training programs and specialized courses both locally and internationally.
Hon. Otuteye served with distinction as a Member of Parliament in Ghana for twelve years, from 2013 to 2025. During his tenure, he contributed actively to legislative processes, governance oversight, and constituency development, consistently championing policies that reflected evidence-based approaches and long-term planning.
Parallel to his political career, Hon. Otuteye has maintained a strong presence in academia. He lectured in statistics, quantitative mathematics, and research methods at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Business School in Accra.
