- The investment fund must have a team in place, even though having a team with experience would be an advantage.
- The investment fund must aim to contribute towards the growth and development of the Ghanaian economy.
- The investment fund and its investees should be clear on avoiding, minimizing, or mitigating ESG risks.
- The fund should have an impact focus. It will be a plus to have it align with the SDGs.
- The investment fund should invest in SMEs as defined by the VCTF Act 680.
